
SHS.Baubericht – Smart Construction Site Reporting Made Simple
Civil engineering companies are required to document daily site activities—but in practice, this can be complicated and time-consuming. That’s why Systemhaus Sauerland has developed a solution to simplify the process.
With our SHS.Baubericht app, site workers can record working hours, machine usage, and materials directly on-site. The data is then available in the office for review and analysis.
The app guides users step-by-step through the reporting process. Key features include:
- Create new reports
- Select relevant construction sites (only those assigned to the user are shown)
- Enter general data such as date, comments, and weather conditions
- Select employees working that day (recent selections are auto-suggested)
- Enter work times and comments; total hours are calculated automatically from start, break, end, and travel times
- Choose machines and equipment (categorized and auto-suggested)
- Enter machine meter readings
- Record used materials (categorized, with free-text option)
- Add descriptions
- Save or submit the report (once submitted, it cannot be edited)
The app also supports photo documentation, allowing users to attach images directly to reports.
Desktop Companion Application
A Windows-based application complements the mobile app, allowing for easy management of master data such as:
- Employees
- Materials
- Machines
- Construction sites (assigned directly to users)
From this interface, daily reports can be printed and customized evaluations per site are available—such as material usage, machine hours, and more. These metrics are essential for post-project cost analysis.
